Helping Those Less Fortunate
Samaritan House Volunteer
To me, it is very important to help those who are less fortunate than I am, as I have been given a lot. This is why I started to volunteer at Samaritan House. Twice a year, I ask my friends and other kids at school for nice used clothes. I bring the clothes to Samaritan House and let Samaritan House give them to those who can’t afford supplies needed to live. Student Council
Leadership in Student Council is important to me because it is a way for me to impact the school in a positive way. I have accomplished so much like successful bake sales and kindness programs for students to help everyone feel included.
This year, in Student Council, I created a whole new program called Trash Troopers where students pick up trash and help our Earth. The Trash Troopers club is open to anybody so that it is inclusive and it's a new opportunity for new students to make friends at recess while also helping our Earth.
